MBR membrane Classification basis and classification of
1. MBR membrane material
(1) Polymer material Organic membrane raw material:
Isoprene rubber, high-pressure polyethylene, polythiophene, polysulfone, alicyclic acrylic resin, fluoropolymer, etc.
The cost of organic membrane is relatively low, the project cost is cost-effective, the production process of membrane is relatively complete, the membrane diameter and mode are also relatively diverse, and the application is common, but the whole operation process is prone to environmental pollution, low compressive strength, and short application cycle.
(2) Inorganic membrane:
It is a kind of solid membrane. It is a semi permeable membrane made of inorganic materials, such as metal materials, hydroxides, porcelain, porous laminated glass, activated carbon, inorganic fiber materials, etc.
At present, microfiltration is the most common inorganic membrane used in MBR, with the following advantages:
It can be applied in the natural environment with pH=0~14, working pressure P<10MPa, and temperature<350 ℃. Its diffusion coefficient is high, and its energy consumption is relatively low. It has great competitiveness in solving high concentration chemical wastewater.
Defects: the project cost is expensive, it is not resistant to alkaline, and the ductility is small. It is difficult to produce and process the membrane.
2. MBR membrane diameter
Membranes selected for MBR process are generally hollow fiber membrane (MF) and Dow reverse osmosis membrane (UF), most of which are 0.1~0.4 μ M membrane diameter, which can meet the requirements of membrane tube reactor for solid-liquid separation equipment.
Common polymer raw materials of hollow fiber membrane include: polycarbonate, cellulose ester, polyvinylidene difluorobutadiene, polysulfone, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyethylene, methacrylate imide, polypropylene, polyetheretherketone, acrylic resin, etc.
ultrafiltration membrane Common polymer raw materials include polysulfone, polyethersulfone, acrylic resin, polythiophene (PAN), polyfluoroethylene, cellulose ester, polyetheretherketone, polyfluorobenzene, methacrylate fluorobenzene, etc.
3. MBR membrane module
In order to better facilitate industrial production and installation, improve the working efficiency of the membrane, and adequately present the total area of the membrane in the enterprise volume, the membrane is generally assembled in a basically modular machine equipment in a certain way, and under a certain driving force, the components in the solution are separated. This type of equipment is called membrane module.
